Richard Hutchison began training Aikido in 1989 and has 14 years of experience teaching martial arts. Prior to moving to Boston, GA. Richard Sensei spent 7 years in Santa Rosa, California training with his teachers, Jay Bell Sensei, 5th Dan and Lynn Johnston Sensei, 4th Dan, as well as training annually with Tetsutaka Sugawara Sensei, 7th Dan, studying both Aikido and Tenshin Shoden Katori Shinto Ryu. Richard Sensei currently holds the rank of 3rd Dan in Aikido and has received the "Mokuroku" certification in Tenshin Shoden Katori Shinto Ryu from Tetsutaka Sugawara Sensei.
